"No Waste Real Results"
I am a native of Northampton, more importantly I'm a father. I'd like to see Northampton become affordable for many of us already living here. To keep it affordable for our sons and daughters. Keep jobs here and bring in additional businesses. To have our kids receive the best education possible in a stable effective learning environment. For the city to be responsible with our taxpayer dollars we all work so hard for.
I'm not a Politician I'm a neighbor who sees a city with fixable problems.A campaign built on Five pillars:
-
Efficient Government – Starts with a forensic audit of the city's accounting and/or financial records. Once completed, only then can we build a solid foundation for our city.
-
Economic Independence – Reducing taxes, removing unnecessary regulation encourages vibrant business and entrepreneurship. Residential housing plans that make financial and geographical sense.
-
Education Standards – Have they been lowered. Are educators state certified. Let's visit educational models other than traditional. How does each individual student learn?
- Maintenance - In most cases it's always more cost effective to maintain our city infrastructure, I don't see this occurring where needed. I see infrastructure left to deteriorate beyond the point of repair. Full replacement is expensive! These are basic systems and services our city may uses to function effectively, such as roads, bridges railways, airports, power plants, water treatment facilities, sewage systems and buildings. Are they being maintained... Or will there be catastrophic costs in the near future that will again, raise our taxes.
- Unraveling - In the coming months I will be disclosing additional plans for residents and the city.
If you feel any of the above five Pillars need to be fulfilled. I ask for your vote, to donate and volunteer. If you have an idea/s on the above, I invited you to contact me to discuss your idea/s for improvements. Let's strive for "No Waste Real Results".
Respectfully,
Dave Dombrowski
